How it Works

Name What You’re Carrying

Bring one unfinished project. Messy notes, half-built ideas, or vague descriptions are all welcome.

Get Clarity and Definition

The GPT gives you clarity and definition and three clear options

Decide and Log It

Make just one decision. Copy it to your spreadsheet so you don’t reopen the same project again later.

Who is this for?

This is for you if you . . .

  • unfinished projects quietly stress you out
  • you keep tweaking instead of finishing
  • you avoid things because they feel too big now
  • you want relief, not another system

This isn't for you if you . . .

  • you want a detailed productivity framework
  • you’re looking for motivation or pressure
  • you want to optimize or scale every idea
  • you expect everything to be finished

What You Get (the momentum stack)

Finish What You Started GPT

A calm, focused GPT that helps you shrink projects, define “done enough,” and choose a clear outcome — without expanding scope.

Finish What You Started Log (Google Sheet)

A simple decision record where each project gets one row so you don’t have to rethink past decisions.

Clear Resolution Paths

Every project ends one of three ways: finish, close the loop, or keep it open intentionally.
All three count as success.

What's going to change?

Before . . .

  • half-finished projects hanging over you
  • guilt when you see old drafts or notes
  • uncertainty about what to finish or drop
  • mental clutter from open loops

After . . .

  • clear decisions you trust
  • fewer things pulling at your attention
  • less guilt when you open your project list
  • more mental space to work or rest

Mini Quick Wins:

  • Resolve one project in under 10 minutes
  • Stop reopening the same “almost done” work
  • Feel lighter without doing more

Hi, I'm Magda!

Who is Magda?

I am Magda Therrien and I've been easily distracted all my life, which has lead me to find ways to be productive despite the distraction.

Mix that with some sound pedagogy (a BA in Psychology and Business Admin, BEd, and an MA in Education), years of teaching at every level, kids to grad students, a lot of research and some of my own tweaks and creativity and you've got a recipe for productivity, tools and fun: essential ingredients for success.

Why did I create The Micro-offer Alchemist?

I come up with ideas easily.

That also means I’ve spent years with a Google Drive full of half-built projects: drafts, tools, and ideas that started strong and quietly became harder to finish than to leave alone.

Even with systems I trust, I kept running into the same issue: I wasn’t stuck because I couldn’t finish. I was stuck because I hadn’t decided whether something still needed to be finished.

Some projects needed to be shipped.
Some had already served their purpose.
Some needed to be parked without guilt.

So I built a simple way to make that decision once and record it, so projects stop taking up mental space.
That’s what the Finish What You Started Kit is for. Not to push you harder, but to help you close loops and move on.
