SOPs for Distracted Entrepreneurs is a toolkit designed
specifically for those who juggle myriad responsibilities, have varied interests
and crave order in their professional lives.
The premise behind the toolkit is “Sanity, Order, Peace: Make repeatable tasks quick and easy”
Because let's face it, just because you figure it out once
doesn't mean you'll remember everything next time,
or when you delegate or . . .
This workshop will empower you to create a sustainable SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) system. With an automated tracking spreadsheet, an adaptable SOP template, and real-life SOP examples,
you will easily record and streamline your daily operations,
help you get ready to delegate (when it's time) and to automate what you can.
Ease your entrepreneurial journey by making ‘doing all the things’ as simple as possible.
Embrace the freedom that comes with order and start focusing on what truly matters - growing your business.
Almost all other SOP courses focus on writing SOPs from a corporate perspective. This course focuses on developing simple SOPs that are easy to create, easy to use and easy to track.
This system is designed especially for brilliant and distracted entrepreneurs like you, not for bureaucratic corporations. It is designed to be used by individuals, not huge organizations. At the same time it will prepare you for automating and for outsourcing (if that is something you are looking to do and for automating).
There is about an hour and a half of video (also available as audio) in the course.
I made sure you have all the information you need – to understand how and why you will be doing what you will be doing.
Implementation is ongoing, but with my Sanity, Order and Peace System, each SOP takes a fraction of the time it would take to create a traditional SOP. Your focus is on getting the vital information down as simply as possible. Devoting even a few minutes at a time to the system will made a huge impact on your business.
After that your SOPs grow as you do.
You undoubtedly already have everything you need. I recommend using Google Docs for the SOPs and Google Sheets to get yourself organized. You can adapt the system to work with other tools, but I find these are the easiest, simplest and most convenient to use.
I do mention a couple of other tools that might make things easier, but Google Docs and Sheets are all you need, and you can get them for free if you don't already use them.
Because it is sometimes difficult to stay the course when you have decided to do something, you will get occasional reminders to work on your SOPs.
While creating these SOPs doesn't take very long, there is maintenance involved and new processes to document. Creating these systems in your business is an ongoing process, so the occasional reminders will be ongoing as well. You can, of course, opt out of these gentle reminders at any time.
Being consistent and productive is hard when you have to reinvent the wheel every time.
At the same time, it's hard to remember how to do all the myriad things you need to do each day. SOPs are the answer, but only if you can create, use and track them easily. I've tried using SOPs before but they never worked for me until I developed my Sanity, Order and Peace System for easy SOPs.
And they work for me despite decades of distraction and a huge resistance to routine and follow through. After discovering this simple system, I knew I had to share it with the rest of the world.
